Terms & Conditions
Appointments
I take great care to ensure that you receive your training at the requested time. However, all bookings are made with the understanding that I am not responsible for any postponements due to adverse weather conditions, equipment breakdowns, my absence or any other unforeseen circumstances. Similarly, I cannot be held accountable for driving test appointments postponed by the DVSA. Lessons will always start and finish at the agreed location and are a minimum of 2 hours, although longer sessions can be arranged upon request.

Payments
All payments must be made 48 hours prior to your scheduled lesson. I accept both cash and bank transfers.

Refunds
Prepaid lessons are non-refundable. If you cancel a prepaid lesson or block of lessons after it has commenced, the remaining lessons will be forfeited. After this period, the value of any unused lessons will be forfeited, and no refunds will be issued. If you purchase lessons for someone else, please ensure they are aware of these terms.
Prices
Lesson prices will be clearly stated at the time of booking. Any price increases will be communicated well in advance, and changes will only be made when absolutely necessary, unless mutually agreed with myself.

Cancellations
If you need to cancel a lesson, please notify me at least 48 hours in advance. Failure to provide sufficient notice will result in a full charge for the missed lesson. I will wait for up to 15 minutes at the agreed location. After that, the lesson may be cancelled, and you will be charged in full. Rescheduling a lesson is also considered a cancellation, so please ensure you give 48 hours’ notice if you wish to change your lesson time.

Theory & Practical Tests
I will guide you on when to book your tests and how to prepare for them. I reserve the right to withhold my vehicle for your driving test if I believe you have not reached the required standard. It’s recommended to book your tests via the official GOV.UK website to avoid fraudulent third-party services. On the day of your practical test, you will be charged for the use of my vehicle. This fee is £150, although it may vary depending on your location and distance. If the DVSA cancels your test, you may apply for a refund of both the test fee and the cost of the vehicle use.

Fitness to Drive
If I believe that you are unfit to drive for any reason, including the influence of medication, your lesson will be forfeited, and you may still be charged. Some prescription medications can impair your concentration, so always consult your doctor if you’re unsure. If you wear prescribed glasses or contact lenses please ensure you wear them to each lesson.

Code of Conduct
I am a fully qualified “Approved Driving Instructor” (ADI) and have passed the DVSA’s strict examinations. My standards are checked regularly by the agency. I always strive to provide a professional service with a well-maintained vehicle, equipped with dual-control pedals for safety. Although I make every effort to be on time, unforeseen issues such as traffic, weather, or mechanical problems may occasionally cause delays. If that happens, I will either make up the lost time or arrange another lesson at your convenience.
